From Pascal Triangle to Golden Pyramid

Lovemore Mamombe · Asian Research Journal of Mathematics · 2017

We introduce a “structure” of epic proportions – golden pyramid whose sacred geometry is “Fibonacci squared”. In terms of mathematical beauty, the golden pyramid will perhaps be found to be comparable to Pascal triangle.

On the Operation of Division by Zero in Bhaskara's Framework: Survey, Criticisms, Modifications and Justifications

Okoh Ufuoma · Asian Research Journal of Mathematics · 2017

Brahmagupta introduced zero into the genus of real numbers and discussed operations involving it. Of these the operation of division by zero has caused a lot of disputes among mathematicians. The ultimate aim of this work is to clarify and justify Bhaskara’s arithmetic operation...

The 19 Densities of the Hierarchical Bayes Model with Two Conditional Levels

Ying-Ying Zhang, Teng-Zhong Rong & Man-Man Li · Asian Research Journal of Mathematics · 2017

There are 19 densities involved in the hierarchical Bayes model with two conditional levels, in which the 3 densities, that is, the likelihood function, the rst level prior density, and the second level prior density, are known densities. We have written the 16 unknown densities...

Experimental and Mathematical Model for the Antimalarial Activity of the Ethanolic Stem Extract of Azadirachta indica A. Juss in Swiss Mice Infected with Plasmodium berghei berghei NK65

Aderele Oluwaseun Raphael, Momoh Johnson Oshiobugie & Adeniyi Michael Olaniyi · Asian Research Journal of Mathematics · 2017

In spite of the control measures, malaria remains one of most health challenges of our time and will remain a problem until the transmission agent seize to exist which is impossible. This paper presents a five-dimensional ordinary differential equation modelling the transmission...

Combination of Ramadan Group and Reduced Differential Transforms for Partial Differential Equations with Variable Coefficients

Adel R. Hadhoud & Asmaa K. Mesrega · Asian Research Journal of Mathematics · 2017

In this article, an analytical technique is provided to solve partial differential equations with variable coefficients. This technique is a combination of the integral transform known as Ramadan group integral transform with the reduced differential transform. The method can eas...

The Impact of Consumption on an Investor’s Strategy under Stochastic Interest Rate and Correlating Brownian Motions

Silas A. Ihedioha, Ubani, Sunday Iheanyi & Njoku, Iheanyi Odochi · Asian Research Journal of Mathematics · 2017

In this work, we consider that an investor’s portfolio comprises of two assets- a risk-free asset driven by Ornstein-Uhlenbeck Stochastic interest rate of return model and the second asset a risky stock with a price process governed by the geometric Brownian motion. It is also co...
