Let R be a ring with identity, and M is a unitary R-module. In this paper we introduce and study the concepts of pseudo lifting modules and give basic properties, examples and characterizations of these concepts.

Web-based software named “SEN ABLE” to run on both desktop workstations and mobile devices was developed to simulate hydrate formation temperature and pressure conditions using available data to develop the software. Twenty four (24) correlations were studied and streamlined down...

Free particle bound states - which exist only as microscopic systems - are discussed in quantum field theory assuming a QED like Lagrangian with fermion and boson fields. Due to a particular structure, severe boundary conditions can be defined related to geometry, momentum and en...

Human skin segmentation is fundamental to a wide range of computer vision applications ranging from face recognition, facial expression recognition and gesture analysis to various human computer interaction domains. In this paper, we propose a multistage skin segmentation method...

A new metric is introduced for comparing matrix data sets based on QR-factorizations. The metric measures the degree of similarity between the bases of any two matrices, with measure values in the interval [0, 1]. The metric is initially developed in a general framework, for any...

The Enright's third derivative method which is A-stable is derived using multistep collocation approach. The continuous method so obtained are use to generate the main method and the complementary methods to solve standard problems via boundary value techniques such that the nume...

Recently, intense research has been on how to reduce the spread of virus on a network of computer systems, which involves the mathematical modelling of the spread of virus based on mathematical epidemiological approach. This is necessary because a threshold cannot be discerned fr...

Since its introduction, transfer entropy has become a popular information-theoretic tool for detecting causal inference between two discretized random processes. By means of statistical tools we evaluate the transfer entropy of stationary processes whose continuous probability di...

Aims/Objectives: To study an asymmetric duopoly in gas market where two players produce a homogeneous commodity. One of the players maximizes its profit, while the other- its revenue. The asymmetry also includes a security constraint, saying that the revenue- maximizing player ca...

In this manuscript, firstly, Kannan contraction type mapping is universalised. Secondly, the unique fixed point of the universalized Kannan contraction type mappings in universalized metric space is verified. Furthermore, we clarify that it can not have a fixed point in metric sp...
