Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to determine bio-efficacy of botanicals against, leafhopper, Amrasca biguttula biguttula (Ishida) infesting okra at Centre for Vegetable Research, Chimanbhai Patel College of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar. The result revealed that the treatment of azadirachtin @ 0.006 per cent was found most effective and recorded the lowest leafhopper population (1.81/leaf). However, the next best treatments, tobacco decoction @ 2 per cent (2.26/leaf) and neem seed kernel extract @ 5 per cent (2.49/leaf) were at par with each other.
