This study investigated whether science laboratory availability predicts laboratory self-efficacy among Senior High School STEM strand students from two public schools in Davao Occidental during the school year 2025. A quantitative predictive-correlational design was employed, with 210 respondents selected through total enumeration sampling. Validated instruments were used, namely the Science Laboratory Availability Scale (SLAS) and the Laboratory Self-Efficacy Scale (LSES). Data were analyzed using mean, Pearson r, and simple linear regression. Results revealed high levels of laboratory availability and self-efficacy, with a moderate positive correlation (r = .51, p < .01). Regression analysis confirmed that laboratory availability significantly predicted self-efficacy (R² = .26, p < .001). These findings underscore the importance of well-equipped and accessible science laboratories in developing students’ confidence and scientific competence.
